        4) We are striving to standardize the analytical protocol for ISO-CHEK® by participating both in ASTM and ISO standardization process.  The 2,4 TDI  and 2,6 TDI evaluation has become an ASTM Standard D-5932-96 with HDI has become a standard as of April 2000 . ASTM Method D-6561-00 is for the oligomeric HDI and ASTM method D-6562-00 for the monomeric HDI. MDI is still in the ASTM review process.    ISO standard method submitted (Sept 1999) is still undergoing review.

        5) Twelve laboratories in 5 countries have been certified in the  analytical method by attending an full day Omega Specialty sponsored course and  by participating in a yearly Round Robin. The Round Robin provides "spiked" samples to the laboratories of both aerosol and vapor of HDI 2,4 & 2,6 -TDI and MDI. All training takes place at IRSST in Montreal.
